We didn’t have a lot of light/sound toys and I didn’t want her to fall prey to “baby TV” syndrome. Shouldn’t have worried! This is a terrific toy that has so many interactive points — in fact, the baby needs to do everything to activate light/sound, and most if not all of the things that it does have some learning involved (colors, shapes, the alphabet in “ABC” mode; different music styles in “music” mode). This easily gets used every day. It’s also nice in that it’s at the baby’s height, and cruising babies can get around easily. He is able to cruise around it and able to reach all the objects. It does move across the carpet but I put some self adhesive loop and hook (the hook part) velcro on the bottoms of the feet. So it hardly moves at all. I bought this table through Amazon.uk so I have English and French opposed to to Spanish.
